How It Works

CopyInert creates a public, timestamped record of the first registered version of AI-generated text — and every version that comes after.

Register the Text

You submit the text you want to protect as first.

CopyInert records:

   > A timestamp
   > A cryptographic hash of the text
   > A unique CopyInert ID

This becomes the origin point.
Now there is proof of who registered it first.

Each Revision Creates a Version Record

When the text changes — a paragraph added, a sentence rewritten, a chapter expanded — you save a new version.

Each version receives:

> A new CopyInert ID
> A timestamp
> A reference back to the prior version

This creates a verifiable version trail over time.

Forks Are Public Too

If someone builds from or adapts your text, that also gets recorded — clearly linking derivative versions to the original.

No more invisible copying or quiet rebranding.

Every branch remains traceable.

Botton Line...

CopyInert doesn’t stop copying.

It makes copying visible.

So the person who was there first, stays recognized as the origin.
